Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Upper School Spanish Teacher leave replacement, September 2013 – December 2013.
 
The teacher will have a full-time teaching load:  4 Upper School classes, from level II to Advanced Conversation.  The teacher will work closely with the Department Head and fellow teachers in order to ensure the cohesion and consistency of course work and student progress within Trinity’s Modern Languages program.  The position entails class preparation work, classroom teaching/execution, and the timely evaluation (with feedback) of assessments of both spoken and written work.  The teacher will follow Trinity’s full-time teacher schedule: (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday; 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM on Friday).  During non-teaching periods, teachers keep office hours to help students, and they also occasionally sub for one another or help out in other aspects of departmental or school life, as needed.
