Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a full-time, short-term (September 15 – November 9, 2015) leave replacement for a Lower School Educational Technology Coordinator.
 
The Lower School Educational Technology Coordinator will report to and work directly with the lead Lower School Educational Technology Coordinator.  The Principal of the Lower School will oversee their work.  The ideal candidate will possess an understanding and appreciation of theories of learning and pedagogy.  The ideal candidate will be hard-working, eager to learn, and feel comfortable with collaboration.  At least two years of successful teaching experience with elementary-aged students and experience in the field of technology integration in a school environment preferred.  Relevant experience building and conducting successful professional development opportunities for faculty and administration is idean.  However, beginners are also encouraged to apply.
 
The Lower School Educational Technology Coordinator will collaborate with the lead LS Aducational Technology Coordinator to:

• Inspire, encourage, teach and support Lower School faculty in the educational use of technology
• Co-Teach Lower School technology classes
• Support and promote technology professional development for faculty and administration through existing and new programs
• Train faculty and administration to use hardware and/or software
• Help maintain and troubleshoot software and hardware
• Support the needs of the Technology Department as requested
• Specialize in discipline-specific applications of technology (Arts, Science, etc.)
• Find new ways to incorporate applications of technology into the Lower School
• Collaborate in the development of innovative and interesting projects for Lower School students
• Work with Windows and Macintosh computers, SMART Boards and iPads
