Description
Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a Middle School Chorus Teacher for Grades 5-8. This is a .5 position with benefits.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced choral teacher with strong piano skills and a desire to work as a team member with colleagues. A Bachelor’s degree in music education or performance is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
The Middle School Choral Teacher will teach three ensembles: 5th grade, 6th grade, and a combined 7th and 8th grade chorus. Students perform in two evening concerts per year as well as several performances during chapel and community time. From time to time the Middle School Chorus Teacher will also be expected to accompany other vocal and instrumental groups during concerts, chapel and community time.
