Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a full-time Lower School Technology Teacher/Integrationist beginning September 2013.
 
The Lower School Technology Teacher/Integrationist will report to and work directly with the lead Lower School Technology Instructor/Integrationist.  The Principal of the Lower School will oversee their work.  The ideal candidate will possess an understanding and appreciation of theories of learning and pedagogy, with at least two years of successful teaching experience and experience in the field of technology integration in a school environment; relevant experience building and conducting successful professional development opportunities for faculty and administration.

The Lower School Technology Integrationist will collaborate with the lead Lower School Technology Integrationist to:
 

• Inspire, encourage, teach and support Lower School faculty in the educational use of technology
• Co-Teach Lower School technology classes
• Support and promote technology professional development for faculty and administration through existing and new programs
• Train faculty, and administration to use hardware and/or software
• Help maintain and troubleshoot software and hardware
• Support the needs of the Technology Department as requested
• Specialize in discipline-specific applications of technology (Arts, Science, etc.)
• Find new ways to incorporate applications of technology into the Lower School
• Collaborate in the development of innovative and interesting projects for Lower School Students
