Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse Head Coach for the 2017 spring season.  This part-time, seasonal, stipended position begins in mid-February and ends in late May, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. 
 
Specific qualifications include significant lacrosse playing and coaching experience.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and collegiate playing experience is a plus.  Qualified candidates will embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting; have strong organizational skills; have experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents; help identify qualified coaches for level teams; and demonstrate the ability to implement a well- planned and comprehensive approach to middle and high school sports.
 
Qualified candidates will also possess intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to others’ ideas, eagerness to extend themselves for others, and a sense of humor.
