Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an educator to fill the position of Upper School mathematics teacher for grades 9-12, beginning in September 2013.
 
Candidates must have at least five years of high school math teaching experience and should be comfortable teaching a range of courses.  A bachelor’s degree in Math is required; an advanced degree in a related area is preferred. 
 
Experience or interest in teaching math-related electives, especially Statistics, and an interest in advising the math club are also desired.  Successful candidates should desire to make some significant contribution to the school community beyond the mathematics classroom. 
 
Qualified candidates should possess passion for mathematics, intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team, skills to engage and inspire students in the pursuit of learning, commitment to ongoing professional development, and  a sense of humor.
