Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Advancement Services Manager beginning July 1, 2019.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for optimizing the use of Raiser’s Edge, and any other gift processing and/or volunteer management database tools as might be employed, by developing policies and protocols for data entry, prospect management, accuracy and data management;
  • Write and maintain database documentation/procedures, including data input standards
  • Supervise the Advancement Office Administrator and all gift entry;
  • Manage online, matching, credit card, and recurring gift processing as well as vendor relationships;
  • Manage all aspects of on-line giving programs, including design and content;
  • Manage matching gift program;
  • Oversee acknowledgment process for all gifts and generate all pledge reminders;
  • Serve as liaison with the Business Office and ensure timely deposit of all gifts to the Business Office, reconciles all gift receipts with the Business Office monthly, and prepares for audits;
  • Maintain all records in Raiser’s Edge and provide accurate reports on prospects, donors, alumni, gifts and events;
  • Oversee input of all new data – e.g. address changes, new parent information, new business information, attendance at events, target amounts (for annual and capital), solicitation status, and updates;
  • Run data analysis queries, reports, pledge and prospect reports, correspondence and mailing lists from database;
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on annual fund and/or major gifts status, prospect management and constituency specific or donor specific giving status;
  • Prepare all donor lists for inclusion in the Annual Report;
  • Prepare all CASE, NAIS and other surveys and reports;
  • Assist with all necessary preparations for phonathons;
  • Administer constituent communication and volunteer progress through various digital solutions;
  • Train and provide technical support/direction to advancement staff.

The Advancement Services Manager reports to the Associate Head of School for Advancement and provides strategic leadership, as well as long-range and short-term planning in the areas of gift processing, database integrity, reporting, data analysis and system enhancements.  The ideal candidate is data driven, analytical, tech savvy, process focused, detail oriented, creative, thrives on managing multiple projects, and understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with the School’s constituents.
