Description
Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Administrative Assistant to the Associate Head of School for Advancement beginning September 2016.
 
Essential Duties: 
  • Maintain the Associate Head’s schedule and the department calendar, coordinating with divisional and administrative offices and the School’s online calendars as necessary.
  • Manage the Associate Head’s correspondence; prepare and proofread letters and reports.
  • Provide administrative support for the Board of Trustees:  schedule and arrange Board and committee meetings; prepare and distribute meeting notices, agendas, and minutes; maintain and update trustee and committee lists, mail and call lists, email distribution lists.
  • Assist with maintenance and updating of Raiser’s Edge database.
  • Assist with donor research and trend analysis; prepare reports for the Associate Head, Head of School, and others.
  • Provide administrative support for the Director of Development, Director of Alumni Relations, and Director of Special Events as assigned by the Associate Head.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Manage department budgets, tracking expenses and preparing monthly budget/expense reports.
  • Coordinate scheduling of Parents’ Association meetings and events with divisional and administrative offices and maintain these events on the School’s online calendars.
  • Receive visitors, screen and route telephone calls; route and prioritize mail; respond to general inquiries;
  • Create and maintain department, donor, and project files.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Head
