Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper Westside of Manhattan, seeks a Director of After-school Programs and Summer Camp Coordinator.

The Director of After-school Programs and Sumer Camp Coordinator will manage the overall administration of Trinity’s After-school and Extended Day Program, and will be Trinity’s Liaison and assist our summer camp partner with Summersault program.  The Director will be responsible for:

• Developing a program to support Trinity’s mission and build on its rich academic programming and its commitment to developing confident, action-oriented young people; creating programming that enhances the education of the student.
• Marketing the program to the Trinity community.
• Recruiting outside vendors.
• Establishing a combination of program activities to support children’s academic achievement, improve their health and wellness, and increase their exposure to arts and culture.
• Recruiting, hiring, and training of in-house staff
• Creating a welcoming and engaging environment for parents and caregivers that promotes student achievement and encourages and supports a long-term investment in their child’s success.
• Developing and implementing innovative and age-appropriate curricula, enrichment activities, and theme-based projects taking into consideration the youth needs and abilities.
• Assessing and reporting regularly on program performance through observation and evaluation.
• Assist as needed with programming and coordination of  the summer camp program

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who possesses experience in after-school programming, data entry, event management, and office management.  He/she will possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; understand financial reporting and budgeting; and have prior supervisory experience working with both Lower School and Middle School children.
