Description
The Assistant Director of Admissions, K-4 reports directly to the Director of Admissions, K-4 and assists and supports the Director’s work in all aspects of the admissions process.   
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct parent interviews (applying for Kindergarten)
  • Help recruit and instruct parent volunteers for seasonal support at events
  • Send applicant surveys; gather data from responses and prepare necessary reports
  • Assist Director with statistical reporting
  • Help to organize and manage all admissions events
  • Support the volunteer parent tour guides; assist Director and Parent Coordinator with the tour program
  • Represent Trinity at school fairs and other events
  • Attend and support all admissions functions and meetings (day and evening)
  • Serve as a member of the Admissions Committee (the decision-making team on candidates)
  • Assist with general clerical duties as needed:  filing, reports, phone work, mailings, etc.
  • Liaison with testing, vendor and database specialists; coordinate communication, changes, upgrades and maintenance for systems the office uses
  • Assist with child testing and general school tours when necessary
  • Conduct tours and interviews for grade 1-4 applicants
  • Maintain the admissions portion of the website 
  • Other duties as assigned

Special Consideration:
 
  • Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
  • May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Work primarily in a traditional climate controlled office environment.
