Trinity School, a coeducational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks an Upper School Administrative Assistant and Programs & Events Coordinator, beginning July 1, 2015.

- Serves as U.S. Office receptionist. Answer telephones, screens calls, fields questions, and redirects inquiries to the Assistant to the Upper School Principal & Office Manager as appropriate.
- Collaborates with the divisional administrative team and school administrative staff.
- Assumes responsibility for a wide variety of tasks and projects to ensure efficient operation of the division.
- Provides administrative support to the Dean of Students and class deans.
- Schedules annual meetings with parents and students for the four class deans.
- Maintains daily attendance data-entry and record-keeping, as well as working with the class deans and dean of students to monitor student attendance in grades 9-12.
- Establishes and maintains student information files, both hard copies and computer data.
- Coordinates financial aid disbursement for student events and travel.
- Partners with and supports the director of diversity and divisional multicultural coordinators in co-curricular and extracurricular programming and events.
- Partners with and supports assistant principal, dean of students, and service coordinator(s) in operation of student programs, initiatives, field trips, and travel.
- Partners with and supports the Community Time coordinator and Community Time Council. Also helps divisional leadership plan and orchestrate special events (speakers, panel discussions, film screenings, etc.) during and beyond the school day.
- Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
- May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Works primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment.
