Trinity’s Modern Language Department offers instruction in Spanish, French, and Mandarin.  Spanish instruction for all students begins in kindergarten, and in fifth grade, students can choose to continue with Spanish or switch to French.  In ninth grade, students have the opportunity to study French, Mandarin, or Spanish.

Qualified candidates will be dedicated, skilled foreign language teachers with demonstrated expertise teaching French and Spanish to Middle School students.  The Modern Language Department seeks an approachable colleague who possesses a flexible attitude, emotional intelligence, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a sense of humor.  Candidates need to possess a commitment to an equitable classroom culture inclusive of varied student experiences as well as an awareness of how race, gender, and other aspects of identity manifest themselves in the classroom.  In addition, the School seeks candidates who are able to use technology tools and platforms to enhance students’ learning and engagement.  Candidates will be eager to work cooperatively and generously with colleagues, and make some significant contribution to the school community beyond the language classroom.

An Equal Opportunity Employer, Trinity School seeks candidates who will add to the diversity of its school community. More than this, Trinity is expressly committed to becoming an anti-racist institution and is calling on all members of its community to join in this important work.
