Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a part-time leave replacement Physical Education and Fitness Teacher from December 1-19, 2025.

This leave replacement Physical Education and Fitness Teacher will teach fifth grade physical education as well as Grades 10 – 12 classes in yoga and tactical game skills.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A dedication to improving the health and well-being of their students through developmentally appropriate instruction;
• A deep knowledge of fundamental movement skills and the ability to communicate this knowledge in a fun, positive, and motivating manner;
• Experience and confidence in teaching yoga to Upper School students;
• An ability to work collaboratively and generously with colleagues;
• Highly effective classroom management skills that maintain a safe learning environment;
• Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to ongoing professional development; and
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an adaptable attitude, and a sense of humor.

Qualifications for the role include:

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in physical education or a related field; and
• Prior experience working with students in a physical education environment.

Salary range: $72,200 - $171,200 (salary based upon experience; pro-rated for three weeks)
