Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks substitute teachers in the Middle School, beginning immediately.

Substitute teachers will work with students in grades five through eight on an as-needed basis. Candidates must possess strong classroom management, computer, and interpersonal skills. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the developmental needs of Middle School students and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking classroom attendance;
• Delivering lesson plans provided by the teacher;
• Making copies for classroom lessons; and
• Supervising students during recess and/or lunch
