Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a Learning Specialist to serve students in grades 9-12 beginning September 2025.  The Upper School Learning Specialist provides specialized academic services in the form of individual, small, and large group academic coaching, with an emphasis on bringing together research and best teaching practices to remediate the vulnerable aspects of students across educational settings which include English, math, history, and science. Learning specialists also collaborate with faculty to help increase teachers’ awareness and understanding of students’ learning needs and to offer suggestions for differentiating classroom instruction for students with different learning styles or specific learning challenges.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated, skilled learning specialist with a Master's degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, School Psychology, or related field of study, have demonstrated successful teaching experience, and be able to work effectively with Upper School students and faculty. Salary range: $72,200 - $171,200 (salary based upon experience)
