Description

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Administrative Coordinator for its Learning Support Department, beginning July 1, 2024.

The Administrative Coordinator for the Learning Support Department reports directly to the Learning Support Department Head and works closely with all members of the Learning Support team.  This individual supports the work of the school’s Learning Support Department and serves as the Testing Accommodations Coordinator, ensuring the seamless implementation of accommodations for students in school and with external testing agencies.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Learning Support Department and Learning Support Department Head, including but not limited to, calendar management, correspondence, document management, and event planning (including room scheduling, set up, agenda preparation, etc.);
  • Establish, update, and maintain accurate student files, including but not limited to, evaluations, action plans, learning profiles, medical profiles, consent forms, and decision letters;
  • Manage Trinity-funded tutoring and evaluation agreements;
  • Serve as SSD College Board and ACT Coordinator;
  • Collaborate with the Department of College Counseling to synchronize testing recommendations and timelines for students with accommodation;
  • Actively manage student records to ensure accommodations for students with documented disabilities;
  • Coordinate and conduct school-based College Board and ACT testing, including the management of testing materials;
  • Coordinate Upper School extended-time testing; and
  • Proctor Upper School extended-time testing, when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in education or a related field is preferred;
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed;
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with students, parents, administrators, faculty, and other school personnel, both oral and in writing;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with sound judgment;
  • Discreet, professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor;
  • Proven administrative skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; and
  • Proficiency in technology and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 (salary based upon experience)
