Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks a full-time Registrar and Scheduler beginning July 1, 2025.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Registrar and Scheduler is responsible for managing technology needs that support student and academic records and central school databases. This includes the oversight and maintenance of student records, schedules, and the production of grade reports and transcripts. Additional responsibilities involve the support and training of the school’s employees on the student information system (SIS).
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the school’s student information system and learning management system (Blackbaud) including data entry, data validation, record keeping, reporting, and ensuring accuracy and synchronicity/integration between different databases (such as FinalSite Enrollment, Raiser’s Edge, Clarity, etc.);
- Create and maintain a master course schedule, working with the three divisional Principals and their offices;
- Onboard new families to SIS and provide ongoing support to families;
- Coordinate and oversee staff training requirements on SIS, learning management systems or other database software, as appropriate;
- Support divisional offices with grade reporting and generating report cards and student reports;
- Produce and forward transcripts as requested;
- Process the year-end rollover and new academic year progression of student database records to ensure that records reflect the proper graduation, grade level, matriculation status of all students, and the withdrawal of departed students. Work closely with the enrollment team to transition matriculating students and with the College Counseling Office to support student records;
- Work with the Head of School's Office, Assistant Head of School's Office, Business Office, and other areas of the school to compile data for required surveys and reports;
- Oversee the maintenance of student records, including archiving or disposing of the appropriate student records according to the school’s records retention policy;
- Communicate and enforce school policies that protect student (and other constituent) data. Create and implement new policies and training as needed to advance the school’s data privacy efforts. Follow laws and best practices regarding student data management;
- Create reports and analyze student data (such as demographics and academic performance) by request and proactively; collaborate with other offices, such as College Counseling and Admissions, to examine student data of shared interest. Oversee the organization and management of student assessment data for the school (this data may include Primary School Assessments, ERB Scores, CTP Scores, and College Admissions Test Results);
- Document and maintain procedures, workflows, processes, and complex functions; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; and
- A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience with database management; Blackbaud experience a strong plus;
- Commitment to data integrity, privacy, and confidentiality;
- Comfort with and ability to learn software applications;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Driven, solutions-oriented, industrious, accountable, and passionate about achieving results;
- Displays curiosity, a positive attitude, flexibility, and a good sense of humor;
- Proficiency with technology and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite; and
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the School’s mission.

Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 (salary based upon experience)
