Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, seeks a part-time Interim Teacher of Visual Arts, Grades 5-8, beginning September 1, 2025.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Visual Art and be an experienced educator with demonstrated expertise in teaching Middle School students. Candidates should be eager to work closely with colleagues, create an equitable and inclusive classroom culture, have comfort with utilizing technology in instruction, and effectively inspire student learning and engagement.

The successful candidate will guide children’s skill development in the visual arts with a working knowledge of current best practices.  Collaboration with a team in developing curriculum and engaging in ongoing discussions concerning best practices in Arts education and the wider school community are essential. Professional responsibilities include contributing to the life of the school outside of the classroom, professional development, communicating with parents, supervisory duties, and committee work.

Salary range: $72,200 - $171,200 (salary based upon experience)
