Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks part-time Assistant Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer Coaches for the fall 2024 season. These part-time, seasonal, stipend positions begin in late August and end in early November, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. 

Specific qualifications include significant experience in participating in and/or coaching competitive soccer.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and collegiate soccer experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting; have strong organizational skills; embrace and uphold team values (e.g., positive sportsmanship, character, compassion, integrity); have experience in teaching soccer concepts; have experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents; and be able to attend practices and games.

High School practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 3:30 and 6:00 PM. There are approximately 10-18 games, some which may last beyond 6:00 PM.

7th/8th practices occur 3-4 days per week from 2:30 – 3:30 PM.  There are approximately 5-8 games, some which may last past 5:00 PM.

Qualified candidates will also possess intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to others’ ideas, eagerness to extend themselves for others, and a sense of humor.
