Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a Varsity Assistant Track and Field Coach with knowledge in the throwing events for the 2021-22 winter season, with a possible extension into the 2022 spring season. This part-time, seasonal, stipended indoor track and field position begins in November and ends in February, although planning and communication outside of the season is required.

Specific qualifications include significant experience with throwing events.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and other track and field event knowledge is a plus. Qualified candidates will embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting; have strong organizational skills; have experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents; have a solid understanding of safety and skill progression in throwing events; and be able to attend practices and games.  Practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 2:45 and 5:45 PM. There are approximately 7 weekday meets which will extend past 5:45 PM and several meets on the weekends.
